This has made mixed-colour washing so much easier!

I used to be really careful about washing new clothes because I was always scared the colour would bleed onto something else. Tried ColourLock with a load of new clothes and was honestly surprised to see how much colour the sheet had caught after just one wash. Nothing else in the load was stained or affected. Now I just throw one in whenever I’m washing mixed colours. Such a simple thing, but it gives me so much peace of mind!

The honest answers.

No. It does one job and it does not clean. Use your usual detergent in your usual amount, and add the sheet on top.

One for a small load, one or two for a medium load, two or three for a large one. When in doubt, add the extra sheet.

The sheet absorbs loose dye released into the wash water, which reduces the chance it transfers onto other garments.

No. Once it has absorbed dye it is finished. Remove it with the clothes and discard it after the wash.

It only picks up dye that has already come loose in the water. It does not draw colour out of fabric.

Both. Normal cycles either way, machine or bucket.
